LOUDSPEAKER ENCLOSURE DESIGN

We have thousands of hours of experience with sophisticated enclosure design software, and have produced hundreds of successful designs for hi-fi speakers, pro-sound speakers, and subwoofers for home, concert sound and dance club applications. If your selected drive units come with accurate Thiele-Small parameters, an appropriate enclosure can be designed and its performance can be predicted and documented in a couple of hours. If factory Thiele-Small parameters are not available, we can measure the driver to establish its capabilities, limitations and suitability for the intended task. For clients who have some flexibility in their design, two or three alternative enclosures can be designed, and the differences in their performance can documented for convenient comparison.

While our primary design goal is achieving maximum musical performance, our enclosure designs also consider less obvious criteria such as cone excursion limits, power requirements, group delay, impedance, distortion and potential port nonlinearities.
