For tubes and tube accessories, visit Ho Electronic & Sound Service at 3483 Kingsway Vancouver. Ho sells Eminence speakers with a straight face, but don't hold that against him.

Thanks to a convenient provision in BC's home-brewer's legislation, Back Alley Wine Works create great wines and tasty beers at very modest prices. You start and finish the process, and Murray does all the tricky and messy stuff involving heavy glassware and fine particlulate filters.

Curt Palme at Sound Soloutions is definitely the man to know if you have a CRT type video projector or reel-to-reel tape machine that needs professional attention. Curt's website is an amazing resource, and a goldmine of useful information.

Our chum Min-Soo Kim runs Pure Sound #2, 1757 Capilano Road, North Vancouver, and is works on new and vintage hi-fi and musical electronics, including turntables. Min Soo is closed on Mondays, and can be reached at (604) 985 3490. Pure Sound was previously called 'Fix All' but the name was confusing since they concentrate solely on audio.

Gordon Sauck at Innovative Audio run BC's largest vintage audio store, at #204, 13255 78th Avenue, Surrey, (604) 594-9575. He usually has a good stock of classic and collectable audio gear.
